| Thy Light is a one man depressive/suicidal black metal (DSBM) band from Brazil. Non-European black metal bands are often frowned upon, but this band is one which shows that that's just a prejudice. It also confirms the fact that 9 out of 10 one man projects kick ass. The thing I like so much about Paolo Bruno is his ability to make very clean-sounding music while still maintaining the typical black metal sound. There are also melancholic piano and acoustic guitar parts incorporated in some of the songs. The band has 2 demos, the first of which was never released to the public. But the unreleased demo is findable!
the first demo is dsbm genre married with some heavy ^^
the second demo gets some nice clean 'n' piano linked with the dsbm

I mean, I like the atmosphere, but fuck depressive and suicidal people.

That must be only for the image! Kinda like Viking Metal bands that plays for the pagan warriors, it's just to be more Viking, must be that same kind of thing Thy LIght as done but with DSBM.. |

personaly they are one of my top 1 in the genre nowadays..cuz those mix piano/dsbm and heavy/dsbm are just great .makes it special.
but i fuck on the ideas like "kill yrself" cuz indeed yr the only one master of yr own life..to you to know what's really good for you. And personaly, i feel like mythology, philosophy are good to me, and strong... but indeed id never recommand a dsbm band to a young one cuz i wouldnt know his conscience level and power....and could take it very serious....
i mean i feel responsible..
